Mission Statement

The mission of the Old Railroad Bridge Co. (ORBC) Alabama Historic Site is to preserve, educate and promote the understanding and appreciations for the significance the bridge has played in the development of the Shoals Area.
While the Old Railroad Bridge Alabama Historic Site is property of the Old Railroad Bridge Co., Inc. it is an Alabama public treasure open to the public. The ORBC’s mission is to protect and preserve this unique Alabama State historic site for the use, enjoyment and economic benefit of present and future generations.
