Lumber arrives to Fix Tennessee River Bridge in 1927

Florence, Alabama – From the Times Daily archives, story about lumber arriving via steamboat to repair the lower deck on what is now referred to as “The Old Railroad Bridge.” In 1927 it was the only bridge crossing of the Tennessee River between Lauderdale County and Colbert County.
